11AM-11:30AM Armoura / Geoff Asilo Building "Community" is not what it seems. At Armoura, building community is about creating a place where people feel they belong. It's more than coaching sport. It's about bringing athletes, families, and friends together to support one another, celebrate growth, and build meaningful relationships. Through shared training, competition, and experiences, we create an environment where everyone is encouraged to grow in confidence, character, and performance, both on and off the court. At the heart of Armoura is a family united by movement, respect, and the pursuit of becoming better together. Register here

12:30PM-1PM Freddie McKenzie From Freelancer to Funded Freddie McKenzie started out as a freelance videographer trying to work out how to make money from his craft. He went on to build a creative production agency, sold it at 25, and now runs an AI startup that has raised over $2M in venture capital. The thread running through all three is the same: good systems, clear processes and a single source of truth.

In this session Freddie shares what actually changed when he stopped selling his hours and started building something that could operate without him. He'll cover the systems he set up in Notion, a few he got wrong, and how to tell the difference between a business that scales and a job with better branding.

Whether you're a freelance creative who has thought about building something bigger, or a builder wondering whether your idea could be venture scale, you'll leave knowing what to put in place first. | Register here | | 1:30PM-2PM | Conscious Connection Events | From dinner party to multi-city events business: building systems that scale | When Conscious Connection grew beyond one dinner table, I couldn't keep running the business from memory. Never before shared, you'll get to see how I used Notion to transform knowledge in my head into systems that enable our team to run consistently amazing events across multiple cities. | Register here | | 2:15PM-2:45PM | Platform Presents / Jessica Dang | Building Community Infrastructure: Platform Presents x Notion | The word community is often thrown around but what does community really look like? As founder of Platform Presents, I've spent seven years producing exhibitions and events across heritage-listed and unconventional venues in Naarm and Eora, and the throughline has always been the same: real community only exists when people are willing to give something up for it, whether that's time, ego or control.

In this session I'll unpack what that looks like in practice, how Platform Presents builds events and creative programming around collective ownership rather than individual credit, and how Notion has become the backbone of that work. I'll also share how I recently stepped into The Sound Gallery, a community-driven electronic music platform, to rebuild their internal systems from the ground up on Notion, giving the whole team a shared dashboard for artist programming and operations. | Register here | | 3:00PM-3:30PM | Yuli Kiln / Ling McGregor | Create like anything is possible | A talk about the simple, practical steps creatives can take to actually follow their ideas through. Drawing on my own experience becoming an artist, starting a brand, and running a small business, we'll dig into the doubts and misconceptions that tend to surface along the way — and how to move past them. Plus a look at how Notion can help close the gap between having an idea and acting on it. | Register here | | 3:45PM-4:15PM | ALEO | Start Before You're Ready: I Designed a Product I Had No Idea How to Make | Ten months ago I had a pencil sketch that didn't look like anything and a dream of building a homewares brand that I would fall in love with as a consumer.

This session is about what came after: filling in blanks I had no answers for. Briefing factories when I couldn't explain what I wanted. Approving a sample I couldn't take back. Coordinating an artist, a packaging designer and a manufacturer who all had their own timelines and none of whom worked for me.

I'll be showing you the Notion system that held it together.

You don't need to make physical products to get started on this. If you're waiting to feel ready before you start - don't! | Register here |
